Affiliated Organizations

 Communities

AAIA has close ties - and in some cases manages - a number of organizations that focus on a unique “community” within the aftermarket.  These communities consist of like-minded individuals engaged in similar aftermarket occupations or businesses.
 
Together, they can discuss and address issues of specific interest to their members. Click on the link or logo to learn more about each of AAIA’s affiliated communities, their focus, activities and (in some cases) dues.








Automotive Communications Council (ACC)

ACC is a national, non-profit organization comprised of marketing professionals engaged in public relations, advertising, branding and other communication practices for automotive aftermarket companies. ACC provides a networking forum for the exchange of ideas, information and resources about issues, challenges and trends impacting companies and organizations throughout the aftermarket industry.

Members are: marketing and communications professionals
Membership requirements: open to individuals who are employed or have an interest in the automotive aftermarket

 








Care Car Council Women's Board

The Women's Board is comprised of professional women and men, including motor sports figures, service shop owners, technicians, service writers, association and company executives and consultants, who are dedicated to informing female audiences about proper vehicle maintenance and safety, while encouraging young people to investigate automotive career choices. Each year, the Women’s Board provides scholarships to young women interested in perusing a career in the aftermarket.

Car Care Professionals Network (CCPN)

CCPN is composed of independent service and repair businesses and serves as an advising board for AAIA, a national platform for communication, networking between service professionals and the aftermarket supply chain.   

Members are
: service shop owners, repair professionals,
Membership requirements: AAIA membership.

 








Leadership Development Network (LDN)

LDN provides networking and mentoring opportunities for individuals who are new to the aftermarket or want to advance their careers by developing relationships with other aftermarket professionals.  LDN members support both the Aftermarket Foundation and the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium scholarship program.

Members are: junior-to-mid- level aftermarket professionals and seasoned aftermarket professionals wishing to mentor.

 




Manufacturers’ Representative Council

AAIA Manufacturers' Representatives Council collectively supports and promotes the interests, image and value of AAIA manufacturers' representative members.

National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA)

NCMA is a professional society comprised of individuals engaged in the research, management, production and distribution of automotive catalog content. NCMA helps members sell more products, reduce costs and increase efficiency through accurate catalogs, efficient production processes and new technology.


Members are: catalog, product management and marketing professionals from manufacturers, distributors and retailers
Membership requirements: open to individuals who are employed by an AAIA member company

 
 

Affiliated State Associations


The Alliance of State Automotive Aftermarket Associations (ASAAA) and the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) represent over 18,500 aftermarket businesses including independent parts distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, service and repair facilities. AAIA works in coordination with the affiliated state organizations to support and defend aftermarket legislative and regulatory interests at the state and local levels.  State aftermarket associations can also be a source for services such as insurance that are unique to a give locale.
